Archival material

  • Melbourne Soccer - Mark Boric's history blog. In lieu of anything official, this is the place to find and download Australian archival material. The site includes yearbooks and annuals; soccer newspapers and magazines; match programs from international, national, state, local, and ephemeral competitions; club histories; and much more besides.
  • South Melbourne Hellas/Lakers/FC match programs - spanning from 1975-present, via Paul Mavroudis' South of the Border blog. See also an assortment of  historical materials on the same site.
  • Wayback Machine - archive of both defunct websites and older versions of extant websites. Got a dead link? Put it in the Wayback Machine, and it just mind find a working version of it.

  • Melbourne Cricket Club library - the MCC Library's collection includes the Roy Hay-Peter Desira soccer collections. MCC members can visit the library at their leisure, while non-members must first arrange their visit with library staff,

  • Behind The Game - unofficial archive of Brogan Renshaw's Australian soccer interview podcast series, containing 59 of the 60 episodes Brogan recorded. Ironically the one missing episode is the one with Ian Syson.

  • Fair Play Publishing - publishing company of Bonita Mersiades, specialising in Australian soccer books.
  • Sport and Editorial Services - publishing company of Australian soccer historian Roy Hay, the site also includes Roy's various soccer history articles.

  • FootballWA - Like OzFootball, but for Western Australian soccer.
  • OzFootball - the long-running Australian soccer stats database, erratically updated, but still the best place to start.
  • Socceraust.co.uk - British soccer pools site, with a comprehensive results archive for Australian soccer competitions.
  • Ultimate A-League - stats site focusing on the A-League.

Videos

  • Mark Boric - Mark's YouTube channel includes Australian national team games, Victorian archival footage, and women's interstate matches, among other things.
  • George Cotsanis - Episodes of George's Football Nation Radio show The Pioneers, as well as assorted Australian archival footage.
  • Football Chaos - Over a decade of filming predominantly Victorian men's and women's lower league fixtures
  • Football Kingz - YouTube channel dedicated to footage of New Zealand's Football Kingz during their time in the National Soccer League.

  • Newcastle Football History - small selection of Newcastle related footage.
  • Northern Areas soccer - YouTube channel set up by Darren Giancaspro, containing archival footage from the early 1990s of Port Augusta, Port Pirie, and Whyalla soccer.
  • OzGoals - goals scored by Australian players in overseas leagues.
  • United NSL Years 84-04 - Sydney United & Melbourne Knights NSL videos, plus other Australian soccer materials.
